Bartec have recently been recognised in an award by Frost and Sullivan, the global business research and consulting group. F&S have awarded their new, universal tyre pressure monitoring sensor (which Bartec developed for its marketing partner, Schrader International) the 2012 North American Product Leadership Award for its contribution towards the TPMS aftermarket.
Bartec were the main instigators behind the product development, and shared the costs of development with Schrader. Bartec have been responsible for funding the software development, product testing and validation, and the initial marketing (including a product video produced by another BBIC company – Matthew Lindley Productions). Another BBIC company, HJC Design, were responsible for the mechanical design of the product programming fixture.
